Melt flow index tester | Perfect Group India - Delhi

A heated barrel with a cylindrical cavity, a piston, and a die with a predetermined diameter and length make up a melt flow index tester. Pellets or granules of the material sample are placed into the barrel. The substance is allowed to melt after the barrel is heated to a specific temperature. The molten material is under a steady load from the piston as it is carefully guided through the die. The mass of the material that flows through the die in a certain amount of time is used to calculate the flow rate of the molten material.
