B Pipe is a
seamless carbon steel pipe that features high tensile strength and good
resistance to atmospheric corrosion. The material is widely used in the
application of high temperatures such as steam lines, boiler tubes, and oil and
gas pipelines. Conversely, the Stainless Steel 310 pipe is an austenitic
stainless steel pipe with better heat and corrosion resistance. Both kinds of
pipes are equipped with different sets of advantages whereby ASTM A106 Grade B
can offer strength and durability at a cheaper price whereas Stainless
Steel 310 Pipe is still the leader for hot and corrosive environments
where the integrity of the material is of utmost importance.
