Lead the QC Department Head Position Manufacturing Job Description Primary Task: To lead and direct the Quality Control (QC) department within our manufacturing operations in Chennai, establishing and maintaining robust QC processes, ensuring product quality meets the highest standards, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Responsibilities Develop and implement the overall quality control strategy, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's quality objectives and business goals for our Chennai facility. Manage and develop the QC team, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering professional growth. Develop and manage the QC department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications applicable in Chennai and beyond. Ensure the proper use and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment. Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
Required Abilities: In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. Proven experience in establishing and managing comprehensive QC systems and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in root cause analysis and CAPA.
