Job Title: SQL Developer (Fresher) Location: Chennai, India Experience: 0 to 1 year Salary: ₹2.5 LPA – ₹4.5 LPA (Based on skills and interview performance) Job Type: Full-time | On-site Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SQL Developer (Fresher) to join our Chennai-based team. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest in databases and data management. You will work alongside experienced developers and analysts to support database operations and data reporting needs. Key Responsibilities: Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation Assist in developing and maintaining relational databases Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks Support business teams with data-related requirements Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency Create basic reports using SQL queries Document database changes, procedures, and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Good understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, etc.) Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server Logical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have: Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) Basic understanding of stored procedures and database normalization Internship or project experience using SQL or databases Knowledge of Excel or scripting (Python)
