Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is a cooperative that supports other cooperatives serving the people of Western Canada. We are a local employer and part of the Co-operative Retail Network, which, along with approximately 160 independent retail cooperatives, helps build, nurture, and fuel communities.
We care about our families, friends, and neighbors, as well as the communities where we live, work, and play. The FCL Community Investment Fund supports community programs and organizations that matter to our employees. This fund is administered by employee-led committees in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
Eligibility To apply for funding, projects must meet the following criteria:
Be a registered non-profit or charitable organization Support charitable programs and initiatives that impact the communities of Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg Be a funding request between $500 and $10,000 Projects not eligible for funding include:
Religious or politically affiliated organizations; Sports-related events (e.g., golf tournaments) Marketing sponsorship requests Projects located outside of Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg Capital financing requests (see Cooperative Community Spaces Program) Third-party financing requests Financing requests over $10,000 Quarterly financing deadlines: March 31 June 30 September 30 December 31 I am a private investor who provides loans and Global Credit Invest from expert institutions with this community background as a private individual lender who finances personal investments in industrial businesses.
