American Airlines name and date change policy permits you to change your flight schedule, or if you by mistakenly fill out the misspelt name, you can change it under the policy. American Airlines will not charge you if your changes are made within the first 24 hours after booking. However, AA will charge you an extra fee, if you make an adjustment to your reservation after the 24 hours risk free period.
