Atos operates under the brands Atos, Atos Consulting, Atos Worldline and Atos WorldGrid Job Description The main purpose of the Business Operations role is to provide a cross Tower function that creates synergies, collobrations and ensure a centralised and collective perspective on all Tower matters. The individual will be part of a Team that will support, drive and enforce the ICS UK Delivery Units key local and global intaitives, commercial and operational targets and provide the necessary Governance to strengthen our Managed Service methodology, at the right cost base. Job Requirements- A business Operation Manager will cover a multitude of requirements including - Manage, monitor and report on the agreed IS UK PEP targets - Discuss, on a monthly basis, with the individual Sub-Practices, progress and implement any necessary plans that ensures adherence to targets or justify the delay. Ensure IS UK meet all of it reporting deadlines in regards the PEP - Operational Governance - Create, monitor and report on all operational, productivity, managerial and offshore KPI's - Review all KPI's at a Sub-Practice level and instigate necessary plans that ensure targets are achieved. - Create and manage a framework that allows effective operational governance over UK and AOI delivered services. - Centralise and manage all Continuous Improvement Initiatives (CIP's) as agreed by the IS management Team - Provide stakeholder ownership and appropriate Project Management resource to implement initiatives to a successful conclusion - Report back to ICS management team on progress and any risk and issues - To provide a balanced understanding that allows operational effectiveness to be a key deliverable during any initiative implementation. - Provide a single view and tracking on all IS initiatives, collaborations and wider UK/global projects. - Review Industry Bench Marking and Best Practice on all key metric delivered by the IS UK Infrastructure Practice - Create and manage the IS Communication Plan as agreed by the IS management team.C - Centralised Resource Management of all sub practices to allow IS UK decisions towards recruiting in the right demand area. - Represent UK within the larger IS Practice to ensure we adhere to Global reporting structure and initiatives. - Implement and maintain Work Unit Billing as per the Global model ensuring all appropriate costs are allocated within the model. - Provide necessary support towards the Budgetary and forecast reviews. - Manage and control all key 3rd party spend including.. - Manage and control all key items of 3rd party spend within the ICS Production Line. - Manage and control all hardware depreciation and leasing costs within ICS. - Develop and implement strategies for the effective management and use of hardware assets deployed across ICS. - Optimise the use of all existing 3rd party suppliers and develop supplier strategies which are fully aligned with the ICS technology and service strategies and associated roadmaps. - Ensure optimum value for money is being obtained for all 3rd party supplier relationships.
